Job description

With nearly 60 years of experience, Amuneal operates two divisions in Philadelphia: one focused on magnetic shielding, the other on custom fabrication for high-end interiors.

We are seeking a CNC Operator & Programmer to operate Haas CNC Mills and Lathes to assist in our fabrication processes. This role involves working a 4-day, 10-hour week, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.

Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings for programming.
• Set up and operate CNC machines with minimal supervision, including maintenance, repair, and alteration of machinery, parts, tools, and equipment.
• Follow ISO standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience programming CNC machinery.
• Reliable and punctual, able to work full-time from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, in the Frankford area of Philadelphia.
• Completed classes or demonstrated knowledge of CAD/CAM 3D modeling software.
• Knowledge of Fusion 360 is a plus.
• Experience with laser cutting/CNC machining and eagerness to become a subject matter expert.
• Familiarity with tools such as lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, hydraulic press, chop saw, band saw, and various cutting tools.
