Job summary

Monroe Truck Equipment, an Aebi Schmidt brand in Monroe, WI, is seeking an assembler for our 1st shift shop floor. You will assemble metal components, partly or fully, at a bench or on the floor by following docs and material lists.

Responsibilities include reading assembly prints and BOMs, gathering parts, fastening with bolts, screws, rivets and other fasteners, and safely using hand, pneumatic, and power tools. You must lift up to 45 lbs and report issues to the department lead.

Qualifications

• Read and execute instructions as found on blueprints.
• Ability to read and understand a tape measure.
• Perform basic math.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 45 lbs. without assistance.
• Safely use hand, air, pneumatic, and power tools, and machinery.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret assembly prints and bills of material.
• Gathers and positions materials and parts according to Assembly documentation or verbal instruction.
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
• Uses and operates various pneumatic, electrical, and manual hand tools.
• Reports any issues with product or equipment to the department lead.
