Metabolon, Inc. is seeking an experienced data analysis professional with a strong background in mass spectrometry and chromatography to conduct thorough data analysis and quality control using proprietary software.

The role is based at our RTP, NC location with a hybrid schedule (Tues - Thurs in office). The ideal candidate will adapt quickly, maintain meticulous data quality, and support ongoing R&D initiatives.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in physical sciences, mathematical sciences, or a related STEM field.
• 2+ years of experience in analyzing data (strongly preferred).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to learn and adapt to new software tools.

Aufgaben

• Analyze LC-MS and LC-MSMS data to assess the presence, absence, and potential interferences of over 5,000 metabolites.
• Cultivate an in-depth understanding of mass spectrometry data to generate innovative ideas and automation solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data acquisition issues from LC-MS instruments that may affect downstream data quality.
• Verify and adjust chromatographic peak integrations to ensure accuracy.
• Participate in development opportunities, including expanding Metabolon's chemical library by adding new chemical entries.
• Assisting in the creation and optimization of automated data curation systems.
• Integrating peak data for targeted analysis projects.
• Curating experimental data to support company R&D initiatives.
