Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando is seeking a nutrition professional to oversee the Metabolic Kitchen operations supporting human nutrition research studies. You will coordinate the preparation and delivery of study diets, develop study-specific menus, supervise nutrition staff, and ensure food safety and sanitation standards.

Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s is preferred. An RD/RDN credential is mandatory, with 2+ years of food service management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) is required.
• 2+ years of food service management experience.
• Experience supporting nutrition research is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Metabolic Kitchen.
• Coordinate preparation and delivery of diet studies.
• Develop study-specific dietary procedures and menus.
• Manage nutrition staff scheduling, training, and supervision.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and accurate record-keeping.
• Prepare and manage budgets.
