Responsibilities

• Supervises a metabolic kitchen (research-grade nutrition laboratory).
• Weighing and measuring all ingredients with great precision.
• Preparation of standardized meals for research participants.
• Maintaining detailed records of food preparation and nutrient composition.
• Ensuring participants receive exactly the diet specified in a research protocol.
• Develops menus for nutrition research studies.
• Analyzes nutrient intake of diets for research protocols.
• Performs nutrition intervention studies and monitors participant compliance in nutrition studies
• Provides nutrition assessments and nutrition education for research participants.
