Job summary

Hyundai MOBIS Alabama, LLC-Savannah Plant seeks a dedicated MES Manager to lead design, implementation, operation and continuous improvement of MES across manufacturing plants. You will oversee governance, system performance, and integration with ERP/SCADA/PLC while managing MES teams and project delivery.

The role requires strong technical leadership, production insight, and the ability to coordinate across Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, ERP, and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years in Manufacturing Systems / MES.
• Minimum 3+ years of SQL usage or DBA-related roles.
• Experience leading MES governance and cross-plant initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis of business and manufacturing requirements and define MES solutions.
• Oversee system design, configuration, and customization of MES applications.
• Ensure validation, testing, and readiness before production deployment.
• Lead MES implementation and deployment across plants.
• Manage integration between MES and ERP, SCADA, PLC, and automation systems.
• Lead system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution during implementation.
• Oversee MES Operators staffing, shift coverage, and daily operation management.
• Govern system lifecycle and change management processes.
• Lead system development and enhancement projects as Project Manager.
