Job summary

Gore Fabrics IT is seeking an IT Developer/Technical Analyst - Supply Chain to design, implement, and maintain MES-based solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes at the Elkton, MD facility, with a hybrid work option.

You will configure MES software, analyze MES data for improvements, and ensure regulatory and process compliance while collaborating with IT and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in MES development, implementation, and support.
• Experience with Kanoa MES on the Ignition Platform integrated in an SAP environment.
• Proficiency in MES software (e.g. Kanoa, Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, GE Digital Proficy, Loftware Spectrum), programming languages (Python, Java, C#, SQL), and databases (Oracle).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain MES solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA.
• Ensure seamless MES integration with ERP, PLM, and SCM.
• Configure/customize MES software following Enterprise Architecture guidelines.
• Conduct regular maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Analyze MES data to provide insights for process improvements.
• Support and resolve ongoing technical issues regionally and globally.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, changes, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage MES enhancements from conception to delivery within budget.
• Stay up-to-date with latest MES technologies and methods.
