Job summary

Gore Fabrics is seeking an IT Developer/Technical Analyst for the Supply Chain team in Elkton, Maryland. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining MES solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA, to optimize manufacturing processes across the supply chain.

The candidate will work closely with production, engineering, quality, and IT, with a hybrid work arrangement and a competitive total rewards package including health benefits from Day 1.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in MES development, implementation, and support.
• Experience with Kanoa MES on the Ignition Platform integrated in an SAP environment.
• Proficiency in MES software and programming languages (Python, Java, C#, SQL) and database management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to communicate technical info to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain MES/IT Supply Chain solutions, integrated with SAP S/4HANA.
• Focus on MES optimization to improve manufacturing processes.
• Configure/customize MES software to fit manufacturing workflows.
• Perform regular lifecycle maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting for MES systems.
• Analyze MES data to provide insights and process improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across IT, production, engineering, and quality.
• Ensure compliance with ITIL and SDLC processes and maintain documentation.
