Job summary
Danfoss Climate Solutions seeks a Manufacturing Systems Specialist in Tallahassee, FL to safeguard MES and digital manufacturing systems. You will monitor Siemens MES and related applications and support ERP integrations, contributing to go-live and handover for new lines.
Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in IT/Engineering with 3+ years MES experience and strong SQL/BarTender/REST/JSON skills; travel domestically and internationally is required.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in IT, CS, IS, Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 3+ years of MES or production-critical system experience.
- Experience with MES/SCADA, data collection, configuration, troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of SQL, Azure DevOps, BarTender, REST APIs, JSON, and logs for troubleshooting.
- Systematic problem-solving, clear communication, and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Protect production uptime by monitoring Siemens MES and connected apps, resolving incidents and interface problems.
- Improve system reliability by maintaining MES configurations, master data, workflows, and documentation.
- Connect manufacturing technologies by supporting ERP, equipment, database, BarTender, REST, and JSON integrations; use SQL for troubleshooting.
- Deliver MES projects by contributing to requirements, design, configuration, testing, go-live, and handover for new lines.
- Coordinate solutions across a global network with Manufacturing IT and external partners to drive completion.
