Job summary

Experis Technology Group in Greenville, NC is seeking a MES Implementation Consultant for a leading truck manufacturer. You will design, implement, integrate and optimize MES capabilities for high-volume production.

You will translate shop-floor requirements into MES workflows, collaborating with operations, engineering, quality, logistics, ERP and automation teams to ensure MES processes align with plant execution and VIN-based tracking.

Qualifications

• Experience with MES implementation or MES support and delivery activities.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and shop-floor execution.
• Experience supporting automotive assembly or vehicle production processes.
• Experience with ERP/MES integration and quality processes, including testing and deployment.
• Knowledge of material management, sequencing, and production reporting/traceability.

Responsibilities

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the truck manufacturing industry, is seeking a MES Implementation Consultant to join their team.

As a MES Implementation Consultant, you will be part of the Manufacturing Systems team supporting the MES functional delivery and optimization efforts.

The ideal candidate will have strong manufacturing process knowledge, the ability to translate operational requirements into MES workflows, and the confidence to collaborate across plant operations, engineering, quality, logistics, ERP teams, automation teams, and technical MES developers.

What's the Job?

Support the design, implementation, integration, enhancement, and ongoing optimization of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) capabilities in a truck manufacturing environment.

Serve as the functional bridge between plant operations, manufacturing engineering, quality, logistics, business stakeholders, ERP teams, automation teams, and technical MES developers.

Translate manufacturing requirements into effective MES processes across the complete vehicle production lifecycle, including production order execution and VIN-based vehicle tracking.

Enable and support MES functionality for material consumption, component genealogy, work instructions, quality inspections, rework, sequencing, and production reporting.

Collaborate directly with production teams to ensure MES processes align with shop-floor execution and high-volume manufacturing needs.

What's Needed?

Experience with MES implementation or MES support, including functional configuration and delivery activities.

Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and production execution in a shop-floor environment.

Experience supporting automotive assembly and/or vehicle production processes.

Experience with ERP/MES integration and quality processes, including testing and deployment support.

Knowledge of material management, sequencing, and production reporting/traceability concepts.
