Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking an MES Assembly Engineer based in Grand Prairie, Texas, to maintain and enhance technology deployments for assembly across multiple sites. You will collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, IT, and quality teams to deliver projects that meet customer and financial goals.

Key duties include troubleshooting production issues, maintaining applications and servers with cybersecurity in mind, supporting migrations and installations, managing user access, and training

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Systems, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, focusing on manufacturing IT/OT systems.
• Experience with an MES system (Olsom AGW preferred).
• Experience communicating with multiple stakeholders in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in manufacturing IT/OT environments and communicate the fix to stakeholders.
• Maintain and enhance deployment environments, ensuring cybersecurity and regular maintenance; test changes before deployment.
• Provide direct support for platform migrations and new installations.
• Maintain user accounts and permissions; train users for deployments and recurring basis.
• Add business value by improving systems to support processes and increase productivity.
