Programmers.io seeks a Mern Stack/Full Stack Solution Architect to own delivery for complex software initiatives. This remote role in the USA requires deep MERN expertise and leadership to align Engineering, Product, and Design.

You will drive architecture, review code, mentor engineers, and ensure scalable, secure solutions across cloud platforms, containers, and CI/CD pipelines. A hands-on senior technologist with 12+ years is preferred.

Competenze

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience with at least 3+ years in MERN.
• 3+ years in Technical Program Manager, Engineering Manager, or Technical Lead roles.
• Strong understanding of React.js state management and Node.js backend development.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Docker.
• Proven track record managing Agile workflows and using project tools (Jira, Linear, Asana).
• Ability to distill complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and leadership.

Job Title: Mern Stack/Full Stack Solution Architect(Should be able to manage Delivery)

Location: Remote, USA

Duration: Only Full Time

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Drive the lifecycle of complex software initiatives from initial scoping and requirements gathering to deployment and post-launch evaluation.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. Track team velocity, capacity, and sprint health.
• Serve as the primary bridge between Engineering, Product, Design, and Business teams, translating business goals into technical execution.
• Actively contribute high-quality, production-ready code across the full MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Lead technical system design, evaluate architectural trade-offs, and ensure scalable, secure, and performant solutions.
• Conduct rigorous code reviews, establish engineering best practices, and champion testing and CI/CD automation.
• Debug complex full-stack issues, optimize database queries, and resolve production incidents alongside the engineering team.
• Proactively identify technical and project blockers, manage cross-team dependencies, and shield the development team from scope creep.
• Mentor engineers, foster a culture of continuous learning, and elevate the team's technical bar.

What We Are Looking For:

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years specifically working deeply within the MERN stack.
• 3+ years of experience in a Technical Program Manager, Engineering Manager, or Technical Lead capacity.
• Strong understanding of React.js state management (Redux, Context, etc.), and Node.js backend development
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Docker, and modern deployment pipelines.
• Proven track record of managing Agile workflows (Scrum/Kanban) and using project management tools (Jira, Linear, Asana, etc.).
• Exceptional ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear language for non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
