Job Description:
- The M&A Finance & Transformation Lead is a forward-thinking professional, responsible for helping to drive the strategy, timing and orchestration of integration and transformation motions at Client as part of the Chief Accounting Officer (“CAO”) organization.
- The ideal candidate will engage with partners, stakeholders, and leadership to effectively plan and lead M&A Integrations and CAO transformations through an efficient and repeatable application of standardized frameworks, with the goal of maximizing business value.
- They will ensure successful M&A Integrations by partnering with cross functional teams, including Finance stakeholders, Corporate Development, and others, to drive alignment on priorities, budget, deal close and systems integration timelines.
- They will drive organizational and leadership effectiveness by leading CAO initiatives and operations from strategic development to execution.
What you'll Do:
- Lead and manage end to end execution of new M&A transactions, from pre-close integration planning to post-merger integration execution.
- Lead cross-functional teams (internal and external) to deliver on M&A integration activities, ensuring accountability, clarity, and the removal of roadblocks to achieve successful outcomes.
- Work hand in hand with Senior Leaders, business and functional leaders to ensure alignment across the operating model, integration approach and organizational structure for each deal to drive execution and efficiencies.
- Develop and maintain integration-related key performance indicators to measure the efficiency of transaction-value drivers.
- Drive integration plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, run regular integration meetings and drive proactive issue resolution.
- Proactively identify areas for improvements throughout the deal lifecycle and implement best-in-class practices.
- Help ensure repeatable process strategy and finance integration toolset (e.g., playbooks, process flows, work plans) incorporating prior experience and industry-leading practices across all key workstreams are set up and maintained up to date.
- Lead strategic development, planning and execution of transformation programs, ensuring alignment with overall vision.
- Implement and drive change strategies, training, and enablement for all initiatives (e.g. assess impact of org changes, develop communication plans, engage key stakeholders, address concerns, etc.).
- Build trusted and strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
What you need to succeed
- Experienced Professional with a bachelor’s degree, minimum 10 years of relevant experience, demonstrated success in Global M&A and large-scale integrations / transformations, proven ability to lead and collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams, and a strong background in GTM, product integration and Lead to Quote and Quote to Cash.
- Highly self-directed with a strong consultative approach to problem-solving and the ability to deliver results.
- Strong business acumen, a hands-on approach, and confident communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and executive experience, enabling clear communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, while proactively addressing and resolving challenges arising from uncertainty.
