Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a strategic operations professional to own cross-functional alignment for New Verticals merchant initiatives. You will define requirements, sequencing, and success metrics across product, engineering, sales, and support to grow merchant value.

The role emphasizes data-grounded prioritization and working with DoorDash, Deliveroo, and Wolt teams. The ideal candidate has extensive strategy/ops experience, strong communication, and merchant fluency, with a track record in product

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of experience in strategy and operations, business or product operations, consulting, or similar cross-functional roles.
• Natural coalition-builder who can align teams around a shared goal.
• Ability to evaluate opportunity cost and communicate risk and upside clearly.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems and build clear plans.
• Genuine merchant fluency and understanding of retailer growth, promotions, loyalty, and platform relationships.
• Experience in product operations: writing business cases, defining metrics, scoping from zero, shepherding builds to launch.
• Clear written communicator with async-first mindset and data-driven storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Own cross-functional alignment across a portfolio of merchant growth, experience and tooling initiatives.
• Define requirements, sequencing, and sizing for NV merchant priorities across multiple product and engineering teams.
• Build compelling business cases with quantified upside and risk across merchants, consumers, and DoorDash.
• Scope and accelerate net-new and under-optimized capabilities with crawl/walk/run plans for prioritization.
• Bridge the NV merchant needs with product, sales, support, and operations across DoorDash, Deliveroo, and Wolt.
