Job summary

AEO is seeking a full-time Merchandising Team Leader in Altoona, PA to drive merchandising strategy and coach the store team toward best-in-class guest experiences. You will lead Fitting Room and Salesfloor activity, ensure adherence to brand standards, and maintain replenishment and floorset execution with integrity and teamwork.

You will recruit, train, and motivate colleagues, conduct frequent coaching sessions, and promote a safe, guest-ready environment aligned with store goals and AEO

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail team in a store environment.
• Ability to train and coach associates to meet brand standards.
• Strong focus on delivering visual merchandising and guest-ready conditions.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales as Leader on Duty by maximizing store productivity and guest loyalty.
• Coach team to deliver on brand standards and maintain store visuals.
• Lead and develop staff through training, performance feedback and development plans.
• Recruit and hire strong talent to meet business needs and staffing requirements.
• Provide ongoing performance feedback and conduct regular touchbases and reviews.
• Execute daily operations, uphold visual standards, and ensure guest-ready fitting rooms.
