Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. seeks a full-time Merchandising Team Leader to drive the store merchandising strategy, coach the team, and uphold AEO brand standards on the floor and in the fitting rooms, ensuring every guest experience is top-notch.

You’ll lead daily operations, optimize sell-through, recruit and develop talent, provide real-time coaching, and maintain safety and asset protection while keeping visual standards guest-ready and aligned with company values.

Qualifications

• Retail leadership experience required.
• Ability to train and develop a team to meet brand standards.
• Strong merchandising and guest service focus.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales as a Leader on Duty by maximizing fitting room and salesfloor productivity and building guest loyalty through a best-in-class experience.
• Coach team to deliver an outstanding guest experience and represent AEO Brand Standards on merchandising, replenishment, and daily floorset execution.
• Motivate and inspire the team, hold them accountable to customer service standards on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
• Recruit and develop talent; train and upskill the team to maintain service excellence and staffing aligned with business needs.
• Provide ongoing performance feedback, conduct development plans and reviews to boost associate engagement.
• Execute and innovate daily operational procedures; maintain visual standards across all store zones and keep fitting rooms guest-ready.
• Maintain store safety, asset protection standards, and adhere to AEO policies and procedures.
