Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. is seeking a full-time Merchandising Team Leader to serve as the Store Team Leader's go-to for developing and implementing merchandising strategy.

You will train and coach your team to deliver AEO brand visual standards and ensure the store is guest ready through effective replenishment and floor execution. You will lead by example to drive sales, maintain brand standards, and motivate your team through coaching, performance reviews, and development plans.

Qualifications

• Experience leading retail teams in a management role.
• Ability to train and coach teams to meet brand standards.
• Strong multi-tasking, detail orientation, and time management.
• Knowledge of employment law.
• Business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales as a Leader on Duty by maximizing fitting room and salesfloor productivity and influencing guest loyalty.
• Coach team to deliver on AEO Brand Standards and maintain visual standards.
• Lead by example, inspiring a customer service culture and holding the team accountable to standards.
• Recruit and develop strong talent to ensure adequate staffing and service.
• Provide ongoing feedback through coaching, development plans, and performance reviews.
