Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Canton, GA to support the Store Manager and lead a team in merchandising and freight processing, delivering positive experiences for customers and communities.

You will help manage daily store operations, ensure safety and asset protection, stock, set up planograms, and execute corporate directives while maintaining a clean, welcoming sales floor.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and presentable environment for customers and staff.
• Assist Store Manager with freight and merchandising duties as assigned.
