Position Details:- Work Location: Columbus Opco, 1982 Commerce Rd., Springfield, OH 45504 - covering the OH service area
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30AM-5PM
- Travel: Some local travel. Minimal overnights required

Job Summary:As the Merchandising Supervisor, you will be responsible for hiring, training and managing the Merchandising Associate Team. Leading this team driving strategic sales growth through maintenance and execution of the SmartStock Program. Maintaining an updated knowledge of our programs and policies then ensuring the service team is meeting all expectations. A successful candidate will have effectively demonstrated the ability to organize and lead this service team to meet growth and execution expectations.
Job Responsibilities:- Working from office based at the OpCo and spending balanced time in-field to inspect what you expect from the Merchandising Team.
- Growing Division same store sales growth through category management in store service execution.
- Maintaining current knowledge of all selling technology and enterprise strategies and applying them to daily use with the Merchandise Team.
- Hiring, training, supporting and general management of Merchandising Team.
- Reviewing and providing performance reports.
- Responding and resolving customer concerns.
- Achieving goals for Corporate Marketing Programs.
- Building relationships across all accounts.
- Manage and direct the team to ensure objectives are met and policies are adhered to.
The ideal candidate should possess:- Ability to organize multiple staff with multi-account ledgers to execute geographically efficient routes and effective in-store time management.
- Proficient computer and Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, etc.); specifically with data analysis.
- Excellent customer service, internal communication skills, and knowledge of the industry.
Required Qualifications3+ years managing a small team with in-field merchandising experience.
Must own a reliable vehicle with valid driver's license, current auto insurance with a clean driving record.
Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
5+ years experience in convenience store, food service, wholesale, grocery, or retail convenience industries is highly preferred.
Familiarity with floor planning tools and/or solid understanding of store layouts
Experience with CRM platforms such as SalesForce.
