Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Missoula, MT is seeking a part-time Merchandise Manager to lead merchandising and store operations. You will coordinate truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to ensure pricing accuracy and timely promotions.

This role drives in-stock levels, supports SOP compliance, and leads the team on a daily basis, including MOD coverage, workload planning, and backroom organization to deliver a customer-ready store environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards with accountable teams.
• Provide MOD coverage, maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and flow to sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines for in-stock levels.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and visual merchandising.
• Maintain a clean, organized store and backroom.
• Manage inventory accuracy, shrink reduction, and stock movement.
• Execute ad sets, price changes, and promotional signage.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN receiving.
• Support asset protection practices and shrink awareness.
• Train and develop team members through TM onboarding.
