Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution in a Burlington, NJ store. You will manage truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to ensure accurate pricing and timely promotional execution.

You will provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, lead stock flow, and maintain a customer-ready environment. The role requires 3+ years of retail leadership and a focus on in-stock accuracy, pricing integrity, and staff development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience with SOPs and company programs.
• Experience in planogram execution and visual standards.
• Ability to manage truck processing, inventory routines, and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage adherence to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Ensure execution of company policies, standards, and accountability for store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership for staffing alignment.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines for in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram execution and maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Support a clean, organized, customer-ready store environment including backroom organization.
• Manage inventory control, product accuracy, integrity, and stock movement.
• Execute ad sets, signage, and product placement for promotions.
• Complete price changes accurately and on time across floor and systems.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and accurate order processing.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with correct documentation.
• Manage store damages procedures and shrink reduction.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing coaching.
• Partner to maintain Asset Protection practices.
