Job summary

Five Below is hiring for a store leadership role in Appleton, WI. You will oversee stock receipt, merchandising, promotions, and daily store operations while acting as Manager on Duty when needed.

You will lead a team, train associates, and drive sales through excellent customer service and efficient store management. The role requires flexibility for day, evening, and weekend shifts in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively under pressure.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience; prior retail leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock for quick placement on sales floor.
• Manage store displays, signage, and seasonal resets following corporate guidelines.
• Handle opening/closing duties: secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, ensure daily readiness.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, overseeing operations and staff performance.
• Assist onboarding and training of associates to improve performance and policy knowledge.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising, staffing, and customer service.
• Execute market plans with proper product placement and updated promotions.
• Ensure Inventory Integrity processes are followed.
