The role emphasizes opening/closing procedures, asset protection, and maintaining store standards. Prior retail/management experience is preferred, with strong communication and teamwork skills essential.

Qualifications

• Prior retail management experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and written abilities required.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Able to work in a high-energy team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms
• Ensure a positive, safe and respectful environment with customers and staff
• Other duties as assigned
• Process receipt and return of DSD merchandise
• Manage freight flow in accordance with productivity standards
• Order and stock merchandise needs, including frozen & refrigerated items
• Ensure sales floor is sales-effective
• Plan, merchandise, and maintain clips and power panels with sale items
• Plan and implement monthly Sales Planners
