Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to help the Store Manager lead a dynamic team of associates and create positive experiences for the communities we serve. You’ll focus on merchandising and processing freight, keeping the sales floor stocked and inviting.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management or supervision preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store and restock as needed.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Process the receipt and return of DSD merchandise.
• Manage freight flow in accordance with productivity standards.
• Order and stock merchandise needs, including frozen & refrigerated items.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective.
• Plan and maintain clip strips and power panels with items.
• Plan and implement monthly Sales Planners.
