The role requires prior retail/management experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. You will work in a fast-paced environment with opportunities to contribute to store performance and community service.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy team environment.
• Must be capable of lifting 30 to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Keep the store clean and presentable, including restrooms.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Support the Store Manager with additional duties as assigned.
• Process receipt and return of DSD merchandise.
• Manage freight flow according to productivity standards.
• Order and stock merchandise, including frozen & refrigerated items.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective.
• Plan and merchandise clips, panels and monthly Sales Planners.
