Job summary

Dollar Tree is hiring a Merchandise Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a team and delivering great customer experiences. The role focuses on merchandising, processing freight, and day-to-day store operations to uphold company standards.

The position requires prior retail or management exposure, strong communication, and physical ability for lifting and movement. A dynamic, energetic team environment is expected.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Maintain store areas to company standards and process freight.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Process receipt and return of DSD merchandise and manage freight flow.
