Dollar Tree Stores seeks a Merchandise Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager, lead a team of associates, and drive merchandising and freight processing to deliver positive shopping experiences for customers.

The role requires strong communication and teamwork, with the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and maintain safety standards. You will assist in stock planning, floor merchandising, and daily store operations to meet productivity goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and frequent movement including walking, standing, stooping and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with daily store operations and leadership of the team.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash and inventory.
• Maintain store areas and ensure cleanliness to company standards.
• Process freight receipts and manage flow of merchandise.
• Ensure sales floor is merchandising-ready and stock is replenished.
• Support monthly sales planning and merchandising initiatives.
