Job summary

Dollar Tree in Eastpointe, MI is hiring a Merchandise Assistant Manager to partner with the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering positive experiences for customers and the community.

You’ll focus on merchandising and processing freight, assist with store functions, open/close procedures, stockroom upkeep, and ensuring the sales floor stays clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.

Qualifications

• Retail/management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies including safety guidelines.
• Maintain store areas (stockroom and sales floor) to company standards.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Keep the store clean and presentable.
