Job summary

Dollar Tree in West Valley City, Utah is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering positive experiences for our communities. You’ll focus on merchandising and processing freight, assist with daily store functions, open/close procedures, protect assets, and maintain clean, inviting sales floors and stockrooms.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and meet physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Maintain areas of the store to company standards.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and presentable store environment.
• Assist Store Manager with freight flow, merchandise needs, and stock management.
