Job summary

Dollar Tree is hiring a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Apex, NC to join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering positive experiences for the communities we serve. You’ll focus on merchandising and processing freight while upholding store standards and safety.

Key duties include assisting with day‑to‑day store functions, opening/closing, maintaining stockroom and sales floor, coordinating freight flow, and supporting policies.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and meet physical demands.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Process the receipt and return of freight merchandise.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Support freight flow and monthly merchandising plans.
