What you will do
Tiqets is expanding globally at a faster rate than ever. This means we’re adding more travel destinations, more experiences and more products while reaching more users at the same time and you’re responsible for the magic that happens in between.
At the heart of the Tiqets organisation, the Merchandising team is the driving force behind the success of Tiqets' curated & managed marketplace strategy. As a Merchandising specialist, your job is to ensure that our experiences are designed and curated to meet our demand channels (paid traffic & affiliate traffic). You will be obsessed with Conversion Rate Optimisation and Monetisation of our destinations while delivering a quality user experience.
With your affinity for data, you’ll work closely with stakeholders such as business analysts, marketing specialists & product managers to dive into data and challenge what we did yesterday to achieve outstanding results tomorrow.
You’ll help us to grow and stay ahead of the competition by creating action plans for your experiences, initiating what you can right away and making sure all teams at Tiqets are contributing to the company’s growth.

Responsibilities
Ensure Tiqets global destinations & experiences are set up for success by curating them to meet our global audiences and varied demand channels
Develop and execute comprehensive strategies around key merchandising topics such as categories, content, pricing, availability, geographical coverage etc.
Support the product/tech teams with the development and roll out of key features that can further help us improve our merchandising capabilities by sharing structured research and feedback
You initiate and execute optimisation actions and projects to drive conversion and margin. This includes landing page feature configuration and implementations, copy changes, price tests, creation of new supply combinations, and coordinating promotions etc
Track & own the daily, weekly and monthly performance(sales & revenue) metrics of assigned destinations and experiences while troubleshooting issues immediately to bring the performance back on track. You keep track of, and increase your understanding of the problems specific to your focus area and/or market
Conversion Rate & Revenue are the most important goals for a Merchandising Specialist. Using the Tiqets toolbox of features to improve these two metrics
You work on a daily basis with data and analysis tools such as Looker, Hotjar, and Google Analytics to find new insights and monitor optimisations.
Requirements
3+ years of merchandising and data analysis experience in a high-traffic consumer facing, e-commerce environment
Highly proficient with BI and data visualisation tools such as Excel/Spreadsheets, Looker, Tableau or Qlikview, and other site analysis tools like Hotjar and Google Analytics.
Background in e-commerce category management, pricing & content strategies is a plus
Ability to thrive in a fast moving environment
Switching between ad-hoc analytical tasks and more structured projects, with good business judgement
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Experience producing actionable insights and recommendations based on outcomes of data analyses, tailoring your messaging to the audience
Experience with A/B testing
Proactive, positive mindset to initiate and lead new analyses and research to improve the customer experience
Excellent communicator in English, both orally and in writing
Living in the Netherlands
