All Lowe's associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. The Merchandising Service Associate – Plant Service Lead focuses on Live Plants by:

1. Being friendly and professional while engaging vendors and associates to meet store needs,
2. Ensuring signage, pricing, and displays are accurate for easy merchandise location,
3. Creating visually appealing, safe, clean, and accessible product selections.

This role oversees all Live Nursery merchandising resets, service responsibilities, and maintenance activities, working outdoors in the garden center to ensure merchandise is stocked, fronted, and priced according to planograms and standards. The associate collaborates with the Merchandising Service Manager, team, and store leaders to prioritize tasks and identify nursery service needs, providing ongoing updates and feedback. Maintaining a safe work environment through daily safety reviews, hazard identification, and cleanliness is essential. Travel is occasional for meetings, training, or support to neighboring stores.

What You Will Do

• Provide excellent customer service following Lowe's policies and procedures.
• Build relationships with vendors and ensure merchandise resets meet Lowe's standards.
• Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the team and manager.
• Engage with customers when opportunities arise, assisting with locating, demonstrating, and loading merchandise, and answering questions.
• Merchandise plants according to planograms, update signage, and ensure displays are safe and in order.
• Assist with culling and pricing distressed plants, and maintain communication with the team.
• Adjust fixtures, rotate stock, and support maintenance tasks using power equipment.
• Document completion details of service tasks, including photographs as needed.
• Ensure displays are safe, repair damaged packaging, and maintain cleanliness by removing debris.
• Monitor for security risks and report issues promptly.
• Maintain a safe environment, conduct safety reviews, and operate store equipment as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required: Less than 1 year 6 months of live nursery or general merchandising experience.

Preferred: High school diploma or GED, less than 1 year 6 months Lowe’s sales experience, 6 months merchandising experience, and 3 months operating power equipment.
