Overall Job Summary
The High Volume FAST Team Member is responsible for working as part of the Field Activity Support Team (FAST), primarily in a single store, to own and execute “start to finish” variable tasks such as planograms, signage, price changes, and physical inventories. They also support tasks like merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The role involves interacting with customers and team members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Work scheduled shifts Monday through Thursday, unless otherwise dictated by business needs.
- Communicate proactively with District FAST Supervisor regarding work completion, issues, and solutions.
- Complete planograms and resets accurately and timely.
- Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store measurements.
- Complete store layout initiatives and accurate inventory counts, including cycle counts.
- Complete Tractor Way top cap process and store price changes accurately.
- Hang store signage such as Circulars, Price Cuts, and Managers’ Specials.
- Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
- Perform recovery and review planogram integrity.
- Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, and Add value & Appreciate.
- Ensure a distinctive shopping experience for customers.
- Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., DAT).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail and/or merchandising experience required.
- Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential regardless of education level.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding disciplines preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and conflict resolution abilities.
- Self-directed with minimal assistance needed to complete assignments.
Working Conditions
- Indoor and outdoor environments with moderate noise levels.
- Hard surfaces like concrete and asphalt; adequate lighting and temperature.
- Shifts typically range from 4 to over 8 hours.
- Adherence to safety guidelines is mandatory.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to move and transfer merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Push/pull merchandise with equipment support.
- Lift or reach overhead occasionally.
- Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, and climb ladders frequently.
- Operate equipment safely and effectively.
