The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute "start to finish" variable tasks such as planograms, as well as provide support for other tasks including merchandise and fixture assembly, and the maintenance of all signage. The FAST Team Member will interact with customers and Team Members, while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

As a FAST Team Member, it is essential that you be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented, capable of fulfilling the following requirements:

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as dictated by business needs.
• Communicate proactively and regularly with the District FAST Supervisor on work completion, issues, and offer solutions to overcome them.
• Complete planograms and resets accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform store-specific measurements.
• Conduct accurate cycle counts.
• Complete Tractor Way top cap process.
• Hang store signage.
• Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
• Perform detailed recovery and review planogram integrity.
• Deliver on our promise of Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
  • Greet the Customer.
  • Uncover Customer’s Needs & Wants.
  • Recommend Product Solutions.
  • Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
• Ensure the customer has a Legendary shopping experience that differentiates from the competition.
• Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Prior retail and/or merchandising experience is required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18 years or older and possess a valid driver’s license.

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Candidates must be able to read, write, and count accurately regardless of education level.

Preferred knowledge, skills, or abilities

• Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.
• Self-directed with the ability to complete assignments independently.

Working Conditions

• Generally working indoors with moderate noise levels.
• Work shifts vary, generally no less than 4 hours and may exceed 8 hours.
• Travel between store locations in personal vehicle required, often with long periods of time.
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment, adhering to safety guidelines.
• Work on hard surfaces (concrete, asphalt), with adequate lighting and temperature.

Physical Requirements

• Travel as required to support district needs.
• Push and pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with proper equipment.
• Occasionally lift or reach overhead.
• Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, stoop, and climb ladders frequently.
• Access all store areas safely.
• Operate store equipment including computers and cash registers.
• Read, write, and count accurately.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
• Handle contact with birds/poultry.
• Complete all required training successfully.
• Operate equipment such as dollies, handtrucks, forklifts, balers, computers, and registers (forklift and baler not for under 18).
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Drive vehicles.
• Stand, walk, reach overhead, and move merchandise throughout the store.
• Maintain physical and mental stamina for store activities.
