Overall Job Summary

The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute "start to finish" variable tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member interacts with customers and Team Members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as needed.
  • Communicate proactively with District FAST Supervisor regarding work completion, issues, and solutions.
  • Complete planograms, resets, and store layout initiatives accurately and timely.
  • Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store-specific measurements.
  • Complete cycle counts and the Tractor Way top cap process.
  • Hang signage, assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
  • Perform detailed recovery and review planogram integrity.
  • Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, and Add value.
  • Ensure a differentiated shopping experience for customers.
  • Provide peak coverage during busy periods (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Prior retail and/or merchandising experience required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred.
  • Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Self-directed with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions

  • Mostly indoor with moderate noise; outdoor lots are hard surfaces.
  • Shifts vary, typically at least 4 hours, possibly over 8 hours.
  • Travel between store locations using personal vehicle required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel, lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull merchandise up to 2000 pounds with equipment, and operate store equipment.
  • Must be able to stand, kneel, reach overhead, and move quickly and safely throughout the store and outdoor areas.
