TJ Maxx in Midlothian, VA is hiring a merchandise associate responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring a great customer experience, and maintaining a clean, organized store. You will help manage truck deliveries, tag and display merchandise, and support the team to meet store priorities.

The role requires flexible shifts, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodation.
• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.

Responsabilités

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality
• Orchestrates truck delivery, prioritizing processing of merchandise onto the sales floor
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
• Communicates with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor
• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and signage standards
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned
