Job summary

Kendra Scott in Austin markets is seeking an Associate Merchandiser to support the development of merchandising product strategies and assortment plans. The role focuses on maximizing sales, profits, and maintaining brand positioning across owned categories.

As part of the Merchandising team, you will collaborate with Design, Planning, and channel heads to optimize assortment plans, pricing, and go-to-market calendars while driving category performance and business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Retail Merchandising or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in retail merchandising at a high-growth company.
• Proven ability to execute with consistent delivery.
• Experience and passion for fashion retail merchandising, planning and execution.
• Solid financial acumen and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized, detail oriented and accurate.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to influence peers and communicate up.

Responsibilities

• Manage assortments, milestone dates and performance analysis of owned programs while maintaining a holistic view of category and brand objectives.
• Develop and recommend product assortments to maximize sales and meet customer demand.
• Line finalization, communication and go-to-market preparation.
• Line maintenance: assortment sheets, adds/drops and retail pricing; pricing structures aligning value, quality and pricing.
• Recommend selling strategies, periods, lifecycles, brand positioning and channel distribution.
• Suggest brand drivers and key products by season; manage go-to-market calendar milestones with cross-functional teams.
• Communicate critical merchandising information to functional teams and support category feasibility studies and roadmaps.
• Partner with other merchants to ensure clear execution of priorities and product alignment.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Design, Planning and channel heads to align on strategy and execution.
• Monitor category performance, share reports with actionable insights, and help drive financial targets.
