Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Lindale, TX is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and focusing on merchandising and processing freight. You’ll help drive store operations and ensure positive experiences for the communities we serve.

The role includes duties such as assisting with daily store functions, opening/closing, asset protection, stockroom upkeep, and executing monthly Sales Planners while maintaining a safe, friendly atmosphere for customers

Qualifications

• Prior retail management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Process opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure store assets including cash.
• Maintain store areas to company standards (stockroom/sales floor).
• Assist with freight flow, merchandising, and stock needs.
• Support Store Manager in planning monthly Sales Planners.
