Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Cathedral City, CA to join our store leadership team.

You will assist the Store Manager in guiding a dynamic group of associates, focusing on merchandising, freight processing, and daily store operations to deliver a positive customer experience. Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, maintaining store standards, and executing monthly merchandise plans.

Qualifications

• Retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain areas of the store to company standards.
• Process freight and merchandise needs to meet productivity standards.
• Plan and merchandise Clip Strips and Power Panels with sales items.
• Manage freight flow in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure sales floor is sales-effective.
