Job summary

Sam's Club Columbus, IN is seeking a full-time associate to provide member service, assist with purchasing decisions, and maintain the sales floor. You will supervise associates, stock merchandise, and ensure safety and policy compliance in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 6 months retail experience AND 6 months customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; guiding and assisting with self-service technology; helping with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise.
• Assists management with supervising associates, assigning duties, training, and recruiting or scheduling.
• Receives and stocks supplies and merchandise; maintains sales floor and organizes displays.
• Maintains facility safety by conducting safety sweeps and following handling procedures for hazardous materials.
• Ensures merchandise presentation and pricing, handles returns and shrink, and secures high-shrink items.
• Oversees club pickup order processing and packaging to meet company policies.
• Develops processes with managers and partners; analyzes information and implements improvements.
• Promotes compliance with policies and ethics, and communicates Open Door Policy.
