Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Overland Park, KS to support the Store Manager in leading a team and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You’ll focus on merchandising, freight processing, and daily store operations while upholding safety and company policies.

Responsibilities include assisting with opening/closing, maintaining store cleanliness, stocking, and executing monthly sales plans. Strong communication skills and physical stamina are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Process the receipt and return of merchandise from freight.
• Manage freight flow and stock needs to productivity standards.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective.
• Plan and maintain merchandising items (clips/panels) and monthly Sales Planners.
