Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Oklahoma City to assist the Store Manager with daily operations and merchandising. You will lead a dynamic team, process freight, and maintain store standards while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and meet active work demands.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restock bathrooms; keep areas neat.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Process receipt and return of DSD merchandise.
• Manage freight flow in line with productivity standards.
• Order and stock merchandise needs, including frozen & refrigerated.
• Ensure sales floor is sales-effective.
• Plan, merchandise, and maintain clips/panels with selected items.
• Plan and implement monthly Sales Planners.
