Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. in Clinton, Oklahoma is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join the Store Manager in guiding a dynamic team and delivering positive experiences for communities served. You will focus on merchandising and processing freight.

As a key support, you’ll help with store functions, safety compliance, stockroom maintenance, and customer interactions, while ensuring policy adherence and a clean, well-organized environment.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Open/close procedures as needed and protect store assets.
• Maintain store areas to company standards (stockroom and sales floor).
• Process corporate directives and ensure safe, clean, and presentable premises.
• Support freight flow, merchandise planning, and stock needs including frozen/refrigerated items.
• Contribute to monthly Sales Planners and ensure sales effectiveness.
