Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team in Enid, Oklahoma. You will work with the Store Manager to guide a dynamic team of associates and focus on merchandising and processing freight, ensuring a positive customer experience.

You will assist with daily store operations, open/close procedures, asset protection, and adherence to safety guidelines while maintaining clean, organized spaces. This role requires energy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities
• Maintain store cleanliness and restock as needed
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff
• Other duties as assigned
• Process receipt/return of DSD merchandise
• Manage freight flow in accordance with productivity standards
• Order and stock merchandise needs, including frozen & refrigerated
• Ensure sales floor is sales-effective
• Plan merchandise and maintain Clip Strips and Power Panels
• Plan and implement monthly Sales Planners
