Description and Requirements

As a Merchandising Zone Lead and Trainer at Premium, your role is pivotal in ensuring the success of our field team. You’ll achieve this by connecting merchandisers to our organizational culture and equipping them with the necessary resources to meet client objectives within retail stores. Drawing from your extensive merchandising experience across various retailers, you’ll impart that knowledge to merchandisers in your assigned coverage area. This includes tasks such as resets, ensuring POG (Planogram) compliance, and facilitating new item cut ins.

Your proactive and positive approach will shine through as you conduct store audits, collaborating closely with both your manager and fellow merchandisers—whether in person or over the phone. Your primary focus will be training merchandisers to execute their tasks with 100% compliance, while fostering strong relationships with store personnel. By doing so, you’ll contribute to the merchandising excellence that our Premium clients expect.

What will you do?

·Bring your merchandising experience from all retailers and pass that knowledge by training new and tenured merchandisers.

·Work 20-35 hours per week (unless position is designated as FT).

·Travel up to 75 miles one-way.

·Lead and complete complex resets, ensuring reset/revision POG compliance, and new item cut-ins.

·Conduct Time Studies for new projects.

·Manage Schedules-coordinate with management to conduct in-person trainings with merchandisers.

·Complete store audits. Work side-by-side or on the phone with both your manager and those merchandisers in your area.

·Job/Project Review - Review and provide feedback on project instructions, survey questions, POP installation.

·Retail Work - must successfully complete all work assigned/scheduled accurately & timely.

·Work with Client's in the field.

·Build relationships with store personnel to ensure merchandising excellence for our Premium clients.
