Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Asheville to support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering a great store experience for customers.

You will focus on merchandising, processing freight, maintaining store standards, and executing monthly sales plans. The role requires prior retail and management experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs.

Qualifikationen

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Aufgaben

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Keep store clean and presentable, including bathrooms.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Process receipt and return of DSD merchandise.
• Manage freight flow according to productivity standards.
• Order and stock merchandise needs, including frozen & refrigerated items.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective.
• Plan and merchandise Clip Strips and Power Panels with effective items.
• Plan and implement monthly Sales Planners.
