Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Oxford, Ohio is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to work alongside the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and driving merchandising and freight processing. You will support opening/closing procedures, protect assets, and ensure store standards are met across stockroom and sales floor.

Your duties include processing freight, stocking merchandise (including frozen & refrigerated items as applicable), planning monthly Sales Planners, maintaining Clip Strips and

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store and restock as needed.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
