Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to help lead a dynamic team and deliver a positive shopping experience. You’ll focus on merchandising and processing freight alongside the Store Manager.

You will handle store duties, open/close procedures, loss prevention, and ensure clean, safe operations while engaging customers and associates. Retail management experience is preferred, with strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store to company standards.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms, floors, and stockrooms.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
• Other duties as assigned.
