Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Haverhill, MA. You will assist the Store Manager in leading a team, handling merchandising, and processing freight to maintain a high-energy store environment.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to lift heavy items while upholding safety and company standards. This is a full-time, on-site position supporting daily store performance and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent movement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Assist Store Manager with duties: process receipt/return of merchandise, manage freight flow, stock needs including frozen & refrigerated, ensure sales floor is sales-effective, merchandise Clip Strips and Power Panels, implement monthly Sales Planners.
