Job summary

Dollar Tree Hereford store is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to help lead a dynamic team and oversee merchandising and freight processing. You’ll support the Store Manager in daily operations while delivering a positive shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities include maintaining stockroom and sales floor standards, planning monthly sales, and ensuring safety and asset protection. Applicants should have prior retail and management experience, the ability to lift 30–50 lbs,

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process freight and ensure sales floor is merchandised effectively.
• Plan and implement monthly Sales Planners and clip strips/power panels.
• Provide positive, respectful interactions with customers and team.
